Thank you for that.  We do still have a UK registered car so options are open to take it back to the UK to sell.  I did wonder about it going onto a permanent site, but not sure where to look.

Giordieborn is right the laws for towing caravans here are quite complicated but if you still have a UK reg car, I?d think you could tow it to it?s new home as if you were a tourist but after that the new owner, if the wanted to take it on the road, would have to register and tax it.

Good luck, I hope you find it a new home.

There have been a few on here in the past trying to sell their UK caravans, unfortunately from what I?ve heard and read without much success. The only one I know for sure ended up taking it back, good news is that they had a buyer before going over. I think the registration and cost to do so in Italy was an issue. Good luck.

Caravan.. advise wanted. We came across in November in our caravan which we had been living in for 7 weeks prior to moving to Italy.  We no longer need it and are looking to sell it   In Italy if possible .. if not will look to take it back to the UK to sell.  I would welcome any suggestions as to where we might advertise or any camp sites in the Abruzzo area where they might consider buying it to put on a site to rent out. It is a luxury 4 berth caravan with fixed bed and end bathroom with shower.  We are in Castilenti. Grazie

Hacking is rife at the moment. I would advise everyone to change their passwords to contain lots of characters and symbols, its amazing what scammers are up to.

If you receive an email which says it comes from admin@abruzzolutely, it doesn?t!  Delete the email, it?s spam and DON?T OPEN THE LINK.

Bloody hackers!

Hi everyone,

My name is Robin, and I'm a newbie  ;D I've been living in Abruzzo for a while now and have done different types of jobs, including teaching English. But my real passion is carpentry.. I have a well equipped workshop in Atri, and can do all sorts of jobs that involves wood working. I can restore old Windows (turning them to double glazed), persiane blinds, taparelle type shutters, doors (including front doors) custom made cabinets, and more..

I am relatively cheap in comparison to local tradesmen's prices

So, if you need help with this kind of jobs, don't hesitate in calling me on +39 3315894371, or you can send me a PM to discuss any queries you have..

Look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards

Interestingly, I’m getting emails from sites I’ve never subscribed to and who have obviously got my email address as a third party, so at least I know about it now and can bin them. I suspect some are fishing for people who won’t realise and will now give permission to be contacted.

We also reviewed our privacy policy and decided that we didn't need to do anything except to say 'We have reviewed our privacy policy...' etc.  A lot of people / organisations etc have over reacted with this. It's a good idea of course but doesn't necessarily apply to everyone or everything. If you want to unsubscribe from a whole load of unwanted lists all in one go then then try

This GDPR thing is a godsend for lazy sods such as myself who can't be bothered to go through the rigmarole of unsubscribing to email lists. When the "Action Required GDPR" emails arrive from some company or group I used maybe once ten years ago I simply hit the delete button. I anticipate a lot less spam in the future  ;D
