I would if I could but canít see much through the general murk! This morning the snow line was still above Castiglione MR but not by a lot, itís gradually creeping down lower.

Thought I would start off a collection of pictures of the 'February 2018 event' ( if only to ensure that it materialises to nothing eventful)

Post a glorious snowy picture from where you are showing off the tonnage of white stuff and give approximate location(nearest town in Italy,England or which Alp you are stuck half way up)

This is Arsita today, cheated with the webcam I know.

Stratocumulous Sanding Lenticular so I have been told Lol - Whatever they are - the Gran Sasso was looking beautiful yesterday

Hi Rusty.... The light tends to be best at that time - although due to our location I am ready with my camera at at time of the day

Thanks. We only have a point & shoot but I'd have guessed you'd need longer than 300mm for a shot like that; obviously not! Great job.

Its a Tamron 70 to 300mm with a macro facility - its a real cheap lens but it is so versatile . PS I didn't use the macro facility for this shot Lol.   ;)
