scuola materna
« on: October 05, 2015, 10:28:17 AM »
Advice please!
My daughter and granddaughter are coming to Italy for an extended visit.  Granddaughter
(aged 3) currently attends nursery (playschool) in the UK for 3 mornings a week.

There is a local scuola materna in my local town( which seems to cater for pre-school kids, but does anyone know if you have to book a place. If so, how do you do this? What does it cost and who do you pay?

It's likely that you will need to prove her residency before getting a place.  Better to look for a private, fee-paying nursery I would have thought. The only English language insiders' guide to Sulmona and the Valle Peligna.
