Did anyone get to see this? We missed it and did not realise it was repeated so failed to record it! Is it worth using catch-up to watch/record?

Yes, I watched it diggers.  It was very interesting, though I felt that they tried to be too clever in attempting to use technology to enhance what is there, when in fact, it is fascinating in itself.

Some time ago there was a similar programme about Rome's undercity and this time they are doing Naples, Florence and Venice.

Agree with Shebar, interesting enough without all the computer recreations.

Apparently (not looked for it yet) the Rome program is on YouTube, I'm sure this one will end up there at some point. I don't know how extensive they are, and I'm sure much smaller scale, but Atri has sub-buildings below it as well.
