Registering your car an documents
« on: March 16, 2016, 09:20:44 AM »
Hi can anyone help? I am trying to register my car here, I took my documents to a recommended place after waiting a few weeks for my coc, to arrive, the guy has now come back an said they need translating. Does anyone know how to get these translated? Am in a bother as my mot has now run out, which I feel will mean I have no insurance, and the car has been de registered in the uk. Any thoughts?

Official translation about 5 years back cost us around 20 per A4 page, that was including the bollo and going to the tribunal. Christina Mattei (solicitor, member here) put us in touch with with the girl that did the translation. I have an email address for her if it is still valid, let me know if you need it.  Linseed has always said Gbatt9 on here does this kind of work, so his site here may be worth looking at.

I do not know where in Abruzzo you are.
In Penne (PE) you have:
Studio di Consulenza Automobilistica Milano
The man there is called: Peppino Milano, tel. 336 396712

He has very good connection at the Motorizzazione Civile inPescara
8 Years ago he helped with getting our Dutch car on Italian license plates.
I did all the translation of the car-documents myself and had to declare at the tribunale in Penne I did the translation honest and as best as I could. Tow it must have been a lot nonsense through my translation..

With those documents we went together with Peppino tot the Motorizzazione Civile in Pescara. There the car was proofed and found right and 10 minutes later we had our Italian license plates.

It costed all with each-other in 2008 500,-
You need someone with connections and Peppino has them.

Thanks Il Noce, I have tried using an online translation app, but it loses all the formatting an usually comes out in just one paragraph, I think I am going to try this chap in Pretoro who has the garage as suggested by others.
